A pre-development topographic site survey, increasingly combined with an underground utility survey, lets you work with confidence and reduces the risk in your project.
A site survey can allow you to check earthwork volumes against existing ground level information provided by your client. Use this at the Tender stage to reduce risk and also for variations as the project progresses.
After a pre-development survey we provide many clients with site control and setting-out services. Reduce your risk further with on-site markup of underground utilities.
We have considerable experience in monitoring & deformation surveys of vulnerable structures and earthworks, including railway lines, bridges, retained building facades and cooling towers. Laser scanning is used to produce heritage record drawings and also to monitor for movement.
As-built plans, including underground utilities, are used as records and deed/lease plans. River surveys are carried out to the exacting requirements of the EA specification. GPS Control networks are routinely used to achieve this.
Surveys are supplied as AutoCAD drawings and plots or PDFs. OS National Grid coordinates and background mapping can be provided. Contours, ground models, volumes and sections are also created.
All work is backed by Professional Indemnity insurance and we operate under the rules and regulations of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Based in Manchester, we carry out projects throughout the UK.
